Merrrrrryyyyy early Christmas!!! I have been drawing away as usual!! One thing I have been trying to do while I sketch now is to write down the emotions I feel in the person I am drawing, as well as what I observe in their body gestures and facial features. As Walt Stanchfield said in his book Drawn to Life, "...develop your senses by becoming aware of them." On a different note, some exciting stuff has happened in my life recently. I have officially decided to leave the Academy of Art to take the Animation Mentor program which has been something I have been wanting to do for a long time now, 2 years to be exact!! This past Friday I visited the headquarters and got a great tour as well as lunch, and then had a fantastic conversation with my friends, Cheryl and Victoria, about the program and about the topic I love most, ANIMATION!!! I am so excited to start and I will be posting updates like I usually do. I also got to see Pixar Animation Studios in person, and boy was it breathtaking. That is my dream job, and someday I will be there!!! Well hope everyone is doing well and have a great Christmas!!!
